Many of us (including me) are guilty of spouting out leadership messages that are less than sensational. Recipients are unable to get a sense for what we’re trying to preach. I think we need to put things into a more relatable context.
We promote our leadership books and services as if they were a juice-o-matic—all the glory and fanfare, unique potential at the flip of a switch, buy one get one free... Where’s the beef? We opt for hooking and cooking while we should be schooling and pooling!!
I’d like to challenge our leadership brethren to contextualize our leadership messages—making them understandable, relatable and sensible.
